From the drinks menu to the bowling skittles, the quirky spirit of the film which inspired the bar is evident throughout. Expect a decor which is stripped back but comfortable. Outside seating and Lebowskis’ signature range of White Russian cocktails are among the attractions.

The restaurant is run by husband and wife team Maurizio and Ester Rossini, who moved from Italy to Glasgow twelve years ago. Having previously helmed the popular North Star cafe on Queen Margaret Drive, Rossini is the result of their dream to bring the dishes of Maurizio’s home region, Apulia, to the streets of Glasgow. All dishes on the menu are authentic and the wine list is chosen by the couple themselves.

Offering a much wider menu than your average chippy, diners can choose from classic fish suppers, tacos and burgers. Veggies and vegans are catered for as well, while a bar serving craft beer, wine and fizz adds extra pizazz to the proceedings.
