    Voucher Problems

This was a Christmas gift and was booked by my daughter who made all the arrangements for us and provided us with the booking reference number which we had an email copy of. Unfortunately Radisson Red were looking for the original voucher code and security code provided to her when she bought the gift. As nice as the staff were I did feel a bit harassed into getting these original details (which we were unaware were required as we believed the booking code to be sufficient) It also meant I had to spend time trying to locate these codes through my emails and also texting/calling my daughter to see if she could do the same putting us all under pressure when we should have been enjoying our experience.

The staff and service was very good and views across the clyde when the snow stopped were excellent

Both my friend and I were disappointed with the lack of choice for sandwiches (there was no choice!) All we got was a small piece of wholemeal bread which was toasted with a very thin slice of smoked salmon. Two bite size wraps (and I mean one bite size) with cold meat. Two of the smallest of triangle of a roll with egg mayo and again two bites and it was gone!! The little quiche rounds were the tastiest thing on the plate. The scone was ok and the cakes were very sweet. We felt that the cost we paid was way over what should have been charged. We have tried many afternoon teas and this is certainly the worst we have tasted. Never to be repeated.

    A great find

Our party of five really enjoyed our meal, it was my mothers birthday and more than once they wished her a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. There was a little mistake with the bill but that was rectified quickly, the service was great and the food was above the standard you would normally get in town. I would go back.
