Business Development Manager – 5pm.co.uk

Permanent – Full-time

5pm.co.uk has a fantastic opportunity within our Business Development team.

We’re looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry coupled with a strong sales and account management background.

The role

  • Part of the sales team within 5pm.co.uk, responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our partners with a strong focus on the hotel industry
  • Manage current account base and prospect new partners
  • Deliver on sales, sign-ups and distribution targets
  • Supporting businesses throughout Scotland to gain new customers
  • Deliver on both sector and account KPIs
  • Understanding client needs and working on solution-based packages
  • Daily monitoring of competitor activities
  • Ensure full operational knowledge of all 5pm products and services
  • Work with 5pm’s other teams to implement changes to content and offers effectively.
  • Will be a mix of field appointments and telephone or video appointments.

Your experience

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Experience in B2B sales with focus on SME
  • Working knowledge of sales processes
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven ability in account management and prospecting
  • Target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Experience of diary and appointment management
  • Knowledge of the travel and hospitality sector necessary

  • Excellent people skills and the ability to understand customers’ needs
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and driven
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to build rapport with partners and colleagues alike
  • Commercially minded
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to work well autonomously

Spa & Beauty Business Development Manager – 5pm.co.uk

5pm.co.uk has a fantastic opportunity within our Business Development team to provide growth and account management of our Spa and Beauty section.

We’re looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the beauty and spa industry coupled with a strong sales and account management background.

The role

  • Part of the sales team within 5pm.co.uk, with sole responsibility for our Spa and Beauty section to manage existing partners and drive growth
  • Manage current account base and prospect new partners
  • Deliver on sales, sign-ups and distribution targets
  • Supporting partners in moving their business from offline to online
  • Deliver on both sector and account KPIs
  • Daily monitoring of competitor activities with the objective of short term targeting of Daily Deal prospect accounts
  • Ensure full operational knowledge of all 5pm products and services
  • Work with 5pm’s other teams to implement changes to content and offers effectively.

Your experience

  • 2+ years experience working in a fast-paced field sales environment
  • Experience in B2B sales with focus on SME
  • Working knowledge of sales processes
