    Wouldn't honour the offer

Tired decor, poor quality of food and rude staff! At the end of the meal when we were coming to pay the woman refused to acknowledge my booking under the offer and quite literally pushed my phone out of my hand when I tried to show her my confirmation email. I would have been more than happy to have paid full price but the food lacked any flavour and the duck had been replaced by saw dust. Don't bother.

    Great food mostly great service

We were a group of 6 but half of the group were running late (we were told this wasn’t an issue) ordered some drinks and when the rest of the group arrived proceeded to order. Only to be told that two things most of us wanted weren’t on the menu, it’s fine it happens, the guy then rudely tapped his pen whilst we were trying to decide an alternate and I explained we weren’t told things weren’t available. In a totally unacceptable tone he tried to say it was because the group didn’t arrive at once - this makes no sense because surely you would just tell the people who arrive first and they will pass on the message OR if you forgot to tell us wait patiently whilst we have to choose again, he then walked over to the bar area and was very clearly talking about us to other members of staff. But I cannot stress enough the other waiter was awesome, really friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic, just a shame about that one waiter and for this reason I’m in no rush to return.
