About 1051 GWR

Originally a Victorian railway station, 1051 GWR serves up cocktails, craft beers and elevated pub grub in a multi-stored property on Great Western Road. The landmark Category B sandstone building is designed in the 19th century Beaux Art style and inside, carriage-style booth seating conjures up its romantic railway heritage. Visitors can also drink, dine and watch the world go by in the garden area.

Opening on Partick Bridge Street at the end of 2015, MeatHook is a burger and BBQ bar. Retro-brand mirrors and vintage advertisements set the tone for the decor. Billed as the West End’s only rock ‘n’ roll hangout, The Record Factory is a bar, kitchen, club and gig venue towards the Partick end of Byres Road.
