About Rotunda Bar & Diner
If attending an event the location is perfect. Pre theatre menu had a good selection and food was very tasty. Will definitely book again when attending future events.
Went for the two courses for £16.95. Great value with huge portions of both starter and main course. Drinks including cocktails very reasonably priced. If there is any criticism the carrots were far too hard - fired across table when trying to cut into them.
American diner classics by The Hydro
Part of the lively Rotunda complex, The Rotunda Bar and Diner in Finnieston is perfectly placed for visitors to The Hydro or the SECC. Bringing an informal, American diner style of eating to the banks of the River Clyde, the venue is ideal for a fun night out with friends or family.
Hot burgers, cold beers
The Rotunda Bar and Diner advertises itself as offering ‘Burgers. Shakes. Good Times.’ And that is just the start of it. With the exception of the chicken, pulled pork and veggie versions, all of the burgers are freshly made to order with Scottish beef and served in a brioche bun.
Along with a range of chunky deli style sandwiches and hot dogs, the menus include barbeque classics such as buffalo chicken wings and hickory smoked BBQ ribs. Dishes like the southern fried chicken, Cobb salads, Mississippi mud pie and Oreo cheesecake keep the American flavours flowing.
Naturally, the shakes are thick and creamy. Adult diners may prefer to tackle the extensive cocktail list or sink into a boozy ice cream float.
