Indian and international flavours
Safire’s cuisine is firmly focused on Indian and Asian grill dishes, plus international choices and vegetarian options. Menu items can change, but starters might include both mixed grill and chicken platters, kebabs, samosas, pakoras, garlic king prawns, and baba ganoush with khoubz Arabic bread.
Grill items could feature chicken fillet or beef steaks served with mash or fries, sticky lamb ribs, grilled chilli and garlic sea bass fillet, piri-piri chicken and a selection of burgers. A range of classic curries are also on offer, such as chicken biryani, king prawn masala and lamb karahi. Vegi options include aloo saag, chana masala and tarka daal. More under-the-radar Indian dishes, such as paya, nihari and haleem, are also available. The restaurant also serves its own special signature dish, Safire chicken fries with house dip. If you are not a huge fan of Indian flavours, alternatives on offer include lasagne, Thai green curry and chicken stir fry.
The playful dessert menu might include Ferrero Rocher cheesecake, peanut butter stack, and traditional Indian treats which you can sample on a platter. Safire doesn’t serve alcohol but there are still plenty of drink choices, including a range of mocktails, milkshakes, lassis and soft drinks.
