‘Highly enjoyable stay in good value hotel. We recently stayed at The Boat Hotel in Boat of Garten. We were there on a voucher deal but did not feel like the owners/staff were snobby about that… The room was small but had everything we needed and was comfortable. The bistro/restaurant was very good and generous portions meant we had no room for dessert! The wine was good, only complaint is that the bar prices are a bit steep. Overall we had a fantastic time, the hotel was great value, in a great location and provided a great base for exploring both the Cairngorms and Speyside regions. Staff fantastic. Breakfast fab.’
