Bears famously hibernate through winter. Which helps explain why they are so bad at skiing.
Don’t make a bear-shaped boo boo. Enjoy some winter sports and so much more with today’s Big Deal on a three night stay at Springwell Croft Cottages by Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK.
Located midway between Glencoe and Fort William, the six Springwell Croft Cottages sit on a secluded hillside plateau.
A photographer’s dream, they offer panoramic views from the Ardnamurchan Peninsula down Loch Linnhe to the Sounds of Mull, across to the Argyll Mountains and along Loch Leven to the majestic mountains of Glencoe.
Whether you want to ski at a choice of two resorts; explore the Highlands or simply have a relaxing winter break, this Big Deal from Springwell Croft Cottages is a fantastic alternative to hibernating on the sofa.

‘Lovely place with outstanding view. Stayed here for a week on a family holiday. Eight of us in total but not once did we feel cramped or on top of one another. Extremely homely to come back to after long days of walking and sightseeing and the view of the mountains is so breathtaking. I want to wake up to it every day. Will definitely be back next year.’
‘Fantastic place to stay. We are staying in the Shuna two bedroom cottage. Stunning views of the loch and mountains. The cottage was very clean on arrival, plenty of towels provided. WiFi really good. Laundry facilities available. Excellent base for Oban, Glencoe, Fort William and surrounding areas.’
Your three night escape to Springwell Croft Cottages can be as tranquil or as action-packed as you prefer.
It would be ideal for a winter break with friends or family – Easter is a long way off after all.
The important thing is to break free of the sofa’s orbit and explore the beautiful Scottish countryside on our doorstep.
