• Recently opened following the huge success of their Edinburgh restaurant, this Argentinian-themed grill spot is part of a successful restaurant family that has been going strong since the 90s.

• As well as burgers, seafood, pasta, and empanadas (Argentina’s take on a pie) Gaucho offers various different cuts of steak.

Two courses for two

• Option one of this Big Deal is for two people to each enjoy a starter and main course from a set menu. Starters include choices such as shrimp ceviche with picante rojo, avocado and arepa bread or beetroot tartare with mango ‘yolk’, avocado, sourdough crisp and buttermilk dressing.

• Mains include Churrsaco de cuadril, a 250g rump steak served with chips or salad and sauce or the chicken breast with sugar snap pea, baby onion, chicken jus and rocket oil.

• Option two is for two people to have either 700g spiral rib-eye or sirloin to share with a choice of side and sauce each.

• Gaucho specialises in serving up real Argentinian beef. More specifically, their beef comes from premium Black Angus cattle, bred in Argentina at a hand-selected farm.
