Corinthian comedy nights certainly pack in the action. The evening begins at 7pm with a welcoming glass of fizz and some genial warm-up from engaging regular compere Paul McDougall.

Described as ‘warm, friendly and making waves in the school of hard knocks which is live comedy’, Paul will be introducing all the performers, including your opening act Rob Kane.

In his first year of performing, Mr Kane reached the final of the prestigious Amused Moose competition and since then he has gone on to the final of the Scottish Comedian Of The Year.

He even had his own solo show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

Up and coming acts from Graham Stewart and Russell Bland will look after the evening’s middle slots before headliner Bill Dewar hits the stage.

Called a ‘comedy genius’ by the Evening News, Bill Dewar has been knocking them dead for nearly 25 years.

The Stand and Gilded Balloon have long been his natural stamping grounds and he has tickled the nation’s funny bones on many a radio show.

Bill has sold out several Fringe runs with The Useless Guide to Scotland, a show he co-wrote with Brian Hennigan.

The man has notched up more than 700 shows in the course of his career.

Put more succinctly, your funny bone is in safe hands with Bill Dewar and the rest of the bill are just as adept at finding the funny.

And don’t worry, there are intervals so you will be able to top up your drinks.

The seating is cabaret style – rather more sociable than sitting in rows.
