Available from 4pm to last orders, Sunday to Friday, this tummy-warming tempter is for two people to each enjoy a Big Deal starter and main course from the Scots Indian curries section of the a la carte menu plus a side of rice or naan bread.

The offer also includes a glass of house wine, half pint of beer or soft drink.

The Big Deal selection of starters features chicken tikka or your choice of pakora. Will you go for the mushroom, veggie, chicken, fish or haggis pakora? We couldn’t possible decide which is where the option of mixed pakora comes in very handy.

The Scots Indian selection of curries is packed with popular classics and you can watch the highly skilled chefs make them in the theatre-style open plan kitchen.

We’re partial to a spicy chicken jalfrezi or a rich lamb rogan josh. However, we could be tempted by a rib-sticking chicken dansac or a sweet and sour chasni.

If chilli heat leaves you cold, there are plenty of milder, creamy kormas to choose from.

There is a £5 supplement for king prawn, tandoori and European dishes.
