Authentic Caribbean cooking
Located on Hope Street, Fire in Babylon is a Caribbean street food kitchen in the heart of Glasgow.
The owner is a Glaswegian with Trinidadian roots and the food served in Fire in Babylon is gorgeously authentic and made to recipes which have been passed down through generations of friends and family.
From jerk chicken that melts off the bone to rich, deeply-flavoured curries, the food at Fire in Babylon is the real thing.
Hot sauce
Valid Wednesday to Saturday, the offer is for two people to each have a main course and a soft drink.
Made from fresh, local ingredients, popular main courses on the menu include the Caribbean chicken curry with rice ‘n’ peas; the ital stew with roti and, of course, the jerk chicken and fish.
Naturally, there are plenty of hot sauces on hand at Fire in Babylon – just the thing to fight the cold on a wet and windy winter day.
The offer includes a soft drink for each diner. Fire in Babylon also operates a BYOB policy with a £2.50 per bottle corkage.
There is a supplement of £2 on goat dishes.

Fri – 8pm (tables back by 9.30pm);
Sat - 5.30pm (tables back by 7.15pm) & 7.30pm.
The following dates are excluded:
24.12.15 – 26.12.15;
31.12.15 – 02.01.16.
Important Information
The Big Deal is for 2 people to have a main course each + soft drink.
There is a supplement of £2 on jerk fish dish.
Tables required back after 1 hour 45 minutes.
Please note vouchers are strictly non-redeemable after the expiry date.
Advance booking of at least 24 hours required.
24 hours notice of cancellation required. Failure to provide sufficient notice may forfeit vouchers.
Multiple vouchers may be purchased. Max 2 vouchers per booking.
Subject to restaurant availability. The beginning and end of validity period is often busiest. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
