Veggie-friendly options

The curries are served as tapas portions and are delicious.
Popular options include the achari chicken – pan-fried chicken cooked in a lime and chilli pickle; the tender lamb with okra and the spiced chicken chana – spicy, pan-fried chicken cooked with a chana Punjabi masala and fresh green chillies.

Usha’s is very strong on veggie-friendly dishes. We recommend the aubergine bharta: smoked and mashed aubergines cooked to a traditional recipe.

We also fancy the paneer Jaipuri. A dish from the orange city of Jaipur, it is made from roasted chunks of paneer cooked with roasted mixed peppers, onions and mushrooms.

There is a supplement on seafood curries such as the chilli king prawns.
