Choices include plump shrimp with peppers, garlic and Cajun spices, and the roasted chicken breast topped with melted mozzarella cheese and a creamy mushroom sauce.

‘I could hardly believe it…I was tired and needed a decent lunch and a rest. After looking around Rose St and finding nothing that grabbed my attention, I carried on up Hanover Street and saw this restaurant…the bowl of mussels was larger than I’d expected and they were delicious — that would have been enough, but I’d ordered the panino and it wasn’t going to be wasted. That too was delicious and I wondered whether I’d misread the price. I hadn’t, so was delighted and my only regret is that I’m not in Edinburgh long enough to go back.’
