One or two nights

This Big Deal has four options, all of which are available seven nights a week.

Option one is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a Small Double room. Option two is for two people to stay two nights in a Small Double room.

Option three is for two people to stay one night in an Executive Double. Option four is for two people to stay two nights in an Executive Double.

As well as a continental or full Scottish breakfast, the offer includes a superb five course tasting menu on the evening of check-in.

Finally, you will also get to share a bottle of spectacular Bissinger Champagne (this isn’t any old sparkler but a premier cru Champagne with fresh, intense flavours balanced with a vivid acidity and a long finish).

Luxurious rooms

No 11 Brunswick Street has ten individually styled rooms.

Small Doubles are cosy with en-suite bathrooms which feature large double showers or a bath with shower over, demisting mirrors and cosy-toe under floor heating.

The more spacious Executive Doubles feature king sized double beds, which can be configured either as either a double bed or as twin beds.

The rooms are also packed with fantastic facilities such as free internet access, a DVD player, iPod docking sound system, Egyptian cotton sheets, choice of pillows and luxury toiletries.

Depending on availability, there may be the option to upgrade rooms from a Small Double to a Double (£10 per room per night), or from an Executive Double to a Mini Suite (£40 per room per night) or a magnificent Georgian Suite (£60 per room per night).

Impressive Scottish brasserie

Willie Lonnie is the award-winning Head Chef of No 11’s Brasserie. He is committed to using Scotland’s best seasonal ingredients to craft his dishes, sourcing meats from local farms and seafood from Arbroath.

The fixed five course tasting menu changes with the seasons, but here is an example of the kind of selection that you might enjoy:

Smoked cheese, spinach and walnut croquet with a tomato salsa

Duck pastrami, honey roast peach, toasted almonds and watercress salad with wild garlic dressing

Cullen skink (smoked haddock, potato & leek soup)

Slow roast smoked pork belly with apple spiced baby black pudding and colcannan mash

Vanilla & yoghurt pannacotta with new season rhubarb & Edinburgh Gin compote

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk into the centre which you can do via the road (a few pubs and restaurants on the way), or through Calton Hill which is well worth the walk.
