Purpose built in 1894, the hotel was given 4 AA stars in 1912 and has maintained that rating ever since – the only Scottish hotel to have done so.

It’s particularly popular with golfers who love the fact that its Truin Restaurant overlooks the 18th hole of the Royal Troon course.

The hotel is delighted to announce that the refurbishment of the hotel is now well under way – internal works will commence in January and will incorporate the public areas and bedrooms. Leisure facilities

As we mentioned, the deal includes full use of the spa’s soothing facilities including the gym, heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and solarium.

Of course, you can also book in to the hotel’s beauty rooms to indulge in a spa treatment. Spa treatments are in addition to the offer and will be charged accordingly.

There is no shortage of fun things to do in the area. There are numerous golf courses within easy reach not to mention the Burns National Heritage Park and Culzean Castle.
