A little hidden gem in Paisley. Food is excellent & well priced. Portion sizes are good, we had the pre-theatre menu. Staff were very attentive & happy to help with any requests. Well worth a visit. I can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. The quality of food was one of best Indians I have tasted.
5pm deal of 20% discount on a la carte menu meant that the quality was even better value.
Will definitely be returning to try something different from the menu.

Based on Canal Street in the centre of town, The Phat Bhuna specialises in serving up regional cuisine from North and South India. The restaurant is owned by husband and wife team, Dalvindar and Roma Singh, who have plenty of hospitality experience between them. With banquette seating, a bar area and carefully selected music, this is a relaxed and comfy spot to dine in.
The Phat Bhuna serves up both solid Indian favourites and regional dishes with a difference, all crafted from the freshest and best ingredients.
The menu is very flexible, with veggie, vegan, gluten-free and healthy options available. All mains are served with a choice of pan-fried chicken, chicken tikka breast, tender lamb, Pacific king prawns or Indian & European vegetables.
If you fancy trying something new, then regional chef’s specials feature Himalayan Hotpot; Malabari Fish Curry, and Bengoli King Prawn.
Otherwise, sample classics include Ceylonese korma with lashings of cream coconut; a light, smooth and creamy chasni with a delicate twist of sweet ‘n’ sour, and a masala made from exotic Punjabi spices marinated in the restaurant’s very own yoghurt sauce.
Classic bhoona, jalfrezi, jaipuri, rogan josh and daal dishes are also available, alongside many other choices, including a tandoori selection and lunchtime thali menu.
If you are travelling in by train, then The Phat Bhuna is close to Paisley Canal train station. Paisley Arts Centre, Paisley Museum & Art Gallery and the Piazza Shopping Centre are all less than a 10-minute walk away.
