2nd visit. Last minute booking. Very busy but 5pm found a table. Good service and reasonably priced for Central London.

Located on Maiden Lane in London’s famous Covent Garden, Fire and Stone is a stylish pizzeria set over two floors. Since opening in 2006 Fire and Stone has impressed diners with its contemporary take on traditional pizza dishes rather than the usual Italian-American options. Fire and Stone is child-friendly and popular with families, professionals and large parties alike.
Fire and Stone forgo the more common pizza topping combinations in favour of taking international flavours to create a more daring range of choices for diners. Some examples include the Tokyo (Teriyaki beef, roast red peppers, sliced red onion, mozzarella, drizzled with wasabi & ginger cream sprinkled with sesame seeds) the Marrakech (Naan pizza base with spiced minced lamb, preserved lemon, topped with Greek yoghurt, hummus & pomegranate) and the Montego Bay (Jerk chicken, jalapenos & red onions on a BBQ base with coriander & mango salsa).
For those who are not pizza lovers, Fire and Stone also offer a large selection of authentic pasta and noodle dishes, as well as fresh, seasonal salads. From the Bangkok Prawn Noodles and Chicken Pesto Troffiete, to the Feta & Butternut or Crispy Thai Salad, there are options for everyone! And don’t forget to leave room for dessert…
The restaurant’s West Central London location is a short walk from Leicester Square underground station, The Strand, and London Charing Cross train station. There is limited payable on-street parking although there are also payable car parks within walking distance of Fire and Stone.
