The Wide Mouth Frog is the award-winning restaurant at Dalziel Park Hotel and Golf Club in Motherwell. Decked out with cosy booths, it is part of the Lisini Pub Co, the oldest independent, family-owned pub company in Glasgow.
Dalziel Park Hotel is a popular wedding venue and The Wide Mouth Frog restaurant has seen its fair share of courting couples as well as family groups celebrating births, anniversaries and birthdays. The Bar and Brasserie is also popular and offers a lively programme of drink tastings, tribute bands and sport.
The wide-ranging menus at The Wide Mouth Frog offer lots of choices. There are French beef daubes, Indian chicken kormas, a selection of burgers and traditional steak and ale pies. Things get spicy with dishes like the salt and chilli monkfish or the haggis samosa. The grill section offers several cuts of Scotch beef, all of which are dry aged for 28 days.
As well as the a la carte and table d’hôte menus, The Wide Mouth Frog runs a number of promotions such as steak Mondays and a Twilight menu for mature customers.
The Wide Mouth Frog is at Dalziel Park Hotel and Golf Club on Hagen Drive, Motherwell. As the name indicates, there is a golf club on site along with ample parking. The M74 provides easy access to and from Glasgow. The nearest train station is at Carfin.
