Gorgeous food, great service in a lovely environment, bit over=priced A La Carte, 5 pm deal not the best....20% off, but we could have the had the lunch menu cheaper. Wont be doing that again lol! But not really the pubs fault. Really enjoyed my birthday lunch.

Booked through 5pm as the deal for a 3 course sounded reasonable. I had the liver parfait & fish, I enjoyed both. I felt that there could have been more of a choice though, I also reviewed the xmas menu while I was there as I am looking to book somewhere nice for xmas, once again I felt the choice very limited. Would go again for the 3 course meal as I did enjoy it. Only let down I would say was the limited choice on the menu.

The Courtyard Bar and Grill is a welcoming and lively venue on Dundyvan Road in Coatbridge. The contemporary decor is balanced by the traditional attraction of a real wood fire in the winter months. The Courtyard is a good place to relax during the week. At the weekends, the tempo picks up and live entertainment, usually a singer, attracts a crowd.
The chefs at The Courtyard Bar & Grill like to cook modern versions of well-loved, home cooking classics. Everything is cooked on site using fresh produce. Popular dishes include the steak pie with cheddar mash and the angel cut, beer-battered haddock with chunky chips and mushy peas.
More exotic choices include the Thai massaman beef curry and a dish of pan-seared scallops served with hint of curry. As well as the specials, there is always a pasta of the day flavoured with a regional Italian sauce. The grill section of steaks are always a hit. Rump, rib-eye, fillet and sirloin cuts are all available.
Light dessert choices include a citrus pie. More filling options include the rich, dark chocolate tart or the sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
The Courtyard Bar and Grill is on Dundyvan Road in Coatbridge. Coatbridge Central and Whifflet train stations are a little under a kilometre away. Local attractions include Drumpellier Golf Club and The Time Capsule entertainment complex.
