Looking for a restaurant handy for the Clyde auditorium we ended up in Villa Toscana. Wasn't the greatest looking of places, decor was bit tired and was laid out a bit like a canteen. Starters of mozzarella fritters were a tad basic and a little overdone, the garlic bread with cheese was nice enough though and almost a meal in itself. All 3 of us were happy with the mains, cannelloni, risotto and sea bass, and agreed we would have it again. For a last minute deal and proximity to where we wanted to be it was ideal but for a special meal/night out then I wouldn't hurry back. At £13.95 for 2 courses, it's not the worst but definitely not the best 5pm deal.
