What a great find!! Lovely cosy restaurant with sea & shellfish decor. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We had a table for 3 and had 3 plates for £15.95 each. All the small plates were delicious especially the garlic prawns. I could not fault any aspect of my visit. Will definitely be back, thank you.

Excellent food and service however the 5pm menu in the restaurant is completely different from 5pm menu shown on 5pm. It's only half the size of the menu shown on here.

Pescado is a Spanish tapas bar in Partick. The kitchen brigade are passionate about delivering the flavours of the Mediterranean to Glasgow — most especially the fruits of the sea.
The decor is airy and relaxed with a rustically nautical theme that includes ship murals and vintage diving helmets.
Pescado offers a generous tapas selection with a focus on seafood and traditional Spanish flavours. From fresh oysters to pan-seared scallops to grilled langoustines, there are plenty of small plates to be explored — and all can be paired perfectly with a handpicked bottle of wine. Meat lovers and vegetarians won’t go hungry either.
Seafood highlights include fresh oysters on ice with shallot & sherry vinaigrette; pan-fried monkfish cheeks with chorizo stew, and pan-seared fresh scallops with Iberian black pudding and apple sauce. If you fancy surf & turf (small plate-style(, then opt for the king prawn and fillet steak brochette with garlic sauce.
Meat dishes might include pan-fried fillet minute steak with duck egg and hand-cut chips; roasted duck breast, garlic roast potatoes and pomegranate molasses, and breadcrumbed chicken escalope topped with Serrano ham and a Manchego cheese glaze.
Veggies can scoff down choices such as flat cap mushrooms stuffed with goats’ cheese and finished with a herb crust, or deep-fried aubergines with Spanish honey.
Tapas classics like patatas bravas, paella and mixed Spanish olives are also available.
And don’t forget dessert. You might want to try the crema catalana topped with caramelised sugar then studded with blueberries, or the pudin torrijas egg-soaked bread pudding with raspberry, white chocolate and warm Catalan cream.
Pescado also offers a morning menu, including a classic full Scottish breakfast or alternatively, hearty heuvos rancheros with scrambled eggs, Spanish black pudding, serrano ham, chorizo and toast.
For something a little bit different, tuck into the arroz con gambas — fried saffron rice with prawns and topped with soft fried duck egg.
Or you could try out the Spanish version of croque monsieur with a croque senor (French toast filled with Serrano ham and manchego cheese glaze) or croque senorita (French toast filled with tomatoes and cheese glaze).
Also available are meat or veggie tortilla omelettes and for a sweeter experience, indulgent morning churros with chocolate.
Pescado is on Hyndland Street in Partrick, right next to Mansfield Park. Kelvinhall underground station is only a stroll away and Byres Road is just around the corner. The restaurant is also very handy for Cottiers Theatre, making this a great pre-theatre spot.
Plus as Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is 10 minutes away by foot, you could pair your tapas meal with a brisk walk and a bit of culture.
