  This was a second visit to this restaurant - had visited for lunch a while ago and had really enjoyed the entire experience. Booked the three course dinner with wine for £20. Arrived at 7.30pm, restaurant only set up for us and a one other table. After a while we were shown to our table, given menus and left for what seemed an age. No one offered us drinks or any info on the menu. Plenty of staff in evidence, bustling about, clearing and setting tables. Eventually we decided to leave. The waitress, Sonia, was very apologetic and requested we have a drink in the bar and allow staff the opportunity to set up etc. We agreed to this. After 20minutes or so, shown to a better located table. Noticed several diners arriving and complaining about wait time, drinks not arriving. The food was okay but small portions so we decided on the cheese option for our third course. The menu described this as a selection of British and French cheeses. We were given one cheese. We questioned this and were told that a selection was available but only one was served. The waitress did bring us two more cheeses. We didn't stay for coffee.
