Hotel du Vin @ 1 Devonshire Gardens Review

    Arrived at One Devonshire Gardens and we were attentively seen to immediately. The service was very good and the Champagne was excellent and served very well. We had a choice of breads and we chose the Focaccia which was very salty although nice & light. The Starters were very good with two having Spring Rolls, 1 Mushroom Soup and 1 Kipper Pate. All in all, the soup and the Kipper Pate was very good and the Spring Rolls were ok. The Mains were 2 Lamb Terrine & Couscous, 1 Fish (Coley)dish and 1 Risotto . Nothing to shout about, but ok. Desserts were four Sticky Toffee puddings which were good but not as tasty as others elsewhere. Not a great choice especially as we had two people who were Vegetarian. Not what I expected for a Hotel du Vin.
