  I attended Salt & Chilli for the first time. Two courses for £12 was good value but although the coffee was tasty, I think it was overpriced at £3.80 for an average size cup. I will go back.

Katsu to Bao Buns

Salt & Chilli’s menu packs a punch. Start with a small bite, duck spring rolls, zing zing ribs and curry hawker fish balls all feature.

True to its name it offers a range of salt and chilli dishes, our pick would be the king prawns served with salt and chilli fries and Hot Sin dip.

Rice dishes include beef brisket curry with Mooli and Hong Kong chicken or pick a bao bun like the pulled aromatic duck bao.

Located in the heart of Glasgow’s Shawlands on Kilmarnock Road, Salt & Chilli is easily accessible with multiple bus routes on its doorstep, parking nearby and it’s only a ten minute walk to Shawlands train station.
