A coffee house, tea room and patisserie, Bean and Berry is on Bothwell Road in Hamilton. It is a friendly spot to meet friends or family, read quietly or simply watch the street life through the floor to ceiling windows. As well as banquette seating, Bean and Berry has some rather spectacular chairs which vie with the cake displays for customer’s attention.
From morning to early evening, Bean and Berry offers a wide range of food and drinks. As well as juices, smoothies, shakes and frappés, they serve several varieties of tea and more coffee variations than you can shake a stick at.
Customers are welcome to pop in for a quick coffee and caramel mousse tart or settle in to explore the menu of cooked and continental breakfasts. At lunch, there are many soups, salads, baked potatoes, toasties and sandwiches to choose from as well as sharing platters.
Afternoon tea is a speciality at Bean and Berry with a selection of different cakes, bakes and sandwiches available in several permutations. Naturally, they are beautifully presented on three tier cake stands.
Bean and Berry is on Bothwell Road, Hamilton, just a short stroll from the Hamilton Campus of the University of the West of Scotland. The nearest train station is Hamilton West. Bean and Berry has its own car park. Hamilton Race Course and Strathclyde Park Golf Centre are among the local attractions.
