  We were promptly seated when we arrived at 2.30pm, the restaurant was still busy & the atmosphere was pleasant. We'd opted for the 2 course 5pm special and the menu selection was good. My starter of mushroom and mozzarella was the winner, the deep fried rice balls were ok but the portion looked small in comparison to the mushrooms. My main course pizza was fine and the chicken pasta bake was delicious. The beer seemed expensive at £5 per pint but my partner had 2 so it ticked all the boxes. We were given a voucher for our next visit which seemed to offer a cheaper deal than 5pm so we may well check that out. The staff were cheerful and prompt and the food was great value for money. I would recommend.
