Starters good, wine reasonable, staff and ambience good. Could not cut the burger, removed bun, ate some chips on a piece of bun. Friends fish good and was enjoyable. No staff appeared during food, was on outside balcony, when approached- friend had finished, explained why my plate was still 2/3 complete as the burger to use a Glasgow description was like an over-fried hard square sausage. Showed staff member who said would pass it to kitchen and manager. No one approached other to ask if we wanted to purchase any more drinks, suppose you get what you pay for £29.99 not a heartbreak but common courtesy and apply from someone other than the server would have been appropriate. Would recommend the restaurant but unless you wish to use the burger as a projectile stay away.
Left a 10% tip as the service was fine but kitchen needs improved.
