3 course pre theatre, in and out in just over an hour. Experience felt rushed, service brisk but not particularly warm (exception was the only femame waitress who was lovely). We've been in for pre theatre and a la carte on several occasions, but never felt service was any different when ordering from the cheaper menu, until last night. Starters and desserts were excellent, main courses not to Gamba's usual high standard - salmon teriyaki plate was very bare and sauce overly sweet, and the accompaniements with the other fish dish just didn't go together. Just our opinion, others may disagree. We will be back, as we are giving the benefit of the doubt that everyone has an off day, but maybe not for pre theatre...
