The reception as we arrived was confused, and our table, when it was eventually found was cramped and felt a bit "in the corridor".
this was not our first visit to Di Maggio's, and probably won't be our last, but this pizza and pasta house will need to improve as it is increasingly surrounded by other restaurants that aim at the same market.
My wife's warm goats cheese had been under the grill too long; the balsamic dressing had caramalized to the dish. My king prawn "pil pil" was very nice.
The main courses were both well prepared. My wife had the spaghetti and meat balls, while I had the spaghetti 'on the rocks'. The seafood sauce was the best part of the meal. It should be noted that the pasta was perfectly cooked.
Without the '5 pm' deal, this restaurant would be overpriced.
