We can't wait to go back

We had a 5pm deal for sharing platter and bottle of prosecco and we ordered and extra course. Service was fab as was the food and choice on the menu. Would highly recommend.

Relaxed Princes Square restaurant

Conveniently located in Princes Square shopping centre on Buchanan Street, Darcy’s is ideally placed for morning coffee and a cake; a working lunch; a break from shopping with friends or a romantic dinner. Darcy’s is very child-friendly. Not only do they have loads of toys and puzzles for the little ones but also a storybook corner and even face painting on the last Sunday of every month between 1-3pm.
For adults, Darcy’s transforms after dark. The lights go down, the candles come out, and, on Friday evenings, live music adds to the atmosphere.

Extensive all day menu

As well as a breakfast menu, kids’ menu and pre-theatre offer, Darcy’s has a wide-ranging main menu. There are charcuterie sharing boards and nibbles to graze on as well as deli sandwiches – particularly popular at lunchtime. Popular starters include crispy calamari; mussels in a white wine sauce and sautéed mushrooms on toasted ciabatta.
Popular main courses include supreme of chicken and beer-battered haddock. Of course there are burgers with several toppings, salads and our old friend spaghetti carbonara. You could choose something traditional like the steak pie with buttery mash or try something more exotic such as the coconut, ginger and chilli curry.

City centre attractions and transport

Darcy’s is in a prime location in Princes Square shopping centre off Buchanan Street. It is a five minute walk to Central and Queen train stations. The closest car park is Mitchell Street. Nearby attractions include Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Cineworld and the Gallery of Modern Art.
