  I booked a table through 5pm for lunch for myself an my daughter today for a celebration on my booking I requested a seat outside if possible. On arrival we were told to wait as we were too early for afternoon tea, I advised that I had not booked afternoon tea but booked lunch, the manager said that he had no such booking but to take a seat anyway. He eventually found our booking, I did nor get a table outside even though others were offered one. We were given the menu by the waitress my daughter asked what kind of soup they had and she replied I don't know and waited. I asked if the menu we had was for 2 courses and coffee for a set price, I was told yes I think so. Food came which was very average, when we had finished our main course we sat with our plates for 20 minutes and no one may any effort to clear them away. I eventually got fed up waiting went over to the desk and asked for the bill. £22.50 for average food, poor service, no atmosphere and a grumpy manager. When I did give him feedback it was not received well with no apology being offer except for I am short staffed and we are very busy.... there was only about 12 people in the restaurant at the time. My main reason for trying this restaurant today was that my son's graduation is due and I thought that this might be a nice place for a celebration meal. Today's celebration did not go as planned, we did not get the deal offered on 5pm and we not even asked if we wanted tea or coffee. Given the activities going on in Glasgow at the moment I would have thought customer service would be at in best in the restaurant industry.
