came here for my mother in laws birthday as we had thoroughly enjoyed a previous meal here. food is lovely and portions are a good size even on 5pm menu. service is friendly and attentive. I will be coming back soon.

Located on Stewart Street in Milngavie, Cyan is a smart, modern space which offers casual dining featuring flavours from around the world. Whether at the bar, in the dining space or in the upstairs Sky suite, the striking, elementary colour scheme and clean, minimalist design prove that less is more. Special events, including tribute nights, mean that Cyan is never dull.
With an a la carte, set and six course tasting menu, Cyan Restaurant and Bar has options for every occasion. The options range widely from simple dishes like the grilled West coast langoustines with garlic butter to more complex options such as the smoked venison and beetroot salad with a chocolate oil dressing.
Some dishes, like the smoked mackerel pâté, beer-battered fish ‘n’ chips or sticky toffee pudding, are familiar Brit faves. Others, like the lobster and avocado roll or the coconut-crusted prawns, take their influences from further away. Diners can choose to eat a keenly priced dinner of ham hough followed by a stone baked pizza. Or they can push the boat out with a rib-eye steak, veal T-bone or seafood platter. The menus change regularly.
Cyan Bar and Restaurant is on Stewart Street in Milngavie. There is off-road parking and the nearest train station is Milngavie. Local attractions include Lennox Park and Mugdock Country Park.
