    It was lovely the staff couldn't do enough to help...view looked better once it went darker as you didn't notice scaffolding then.

    Afternoon Tea

    Attended on 1st December with my friends. We had a fantastic time. We would definitely be recommending this to others and we will be back. The staff were really nice and the food was lovely.

British classics and gourmet specialities

Scott’s on Princes Street serves up a range of hearty cuisine, from chef’s signature dishes to all-round British favourites.

Sample main courses include grilled salmon in white wine; skirlie crusted corn-fed chicken breast, and asparagus, pea, lemon & thyme risotto. The blade of beef Scotch pie is a chef speciality, or you could sample a dry-aged sirloin steak.

Desserts might include rich delights such as bitter chocolate pudding with brandy cherries, espresso sauce and white chocolate; pink gin & tonic poached pear with raspberries, or a classic Scottish cranachan.

Edinburgh city centre transport and attractions

Scott’s on Princes Street is just a five-minute stroll from Waverley train station. The tram line and dozens of major bus routes run along Princes Street. There is limited pay parking on George Street. From Edinburgh Castle to the luxury boutique shops of Multrees Walk, many of the capital’s major attractions are within easy walking distance.
