Dating back to 1892, the Pine Trees Hotel has all the character and charm of a traditional Scottish country house hotel but with 21st century levels of comfort.
Nestled in ten acres of gardens and woodland, the four star hotel features 29 individually designed bedrooms, all with elegantly designed ensuite facilities and digital TVs. There is free WiFi in the lounge area.
Garden Restaurant
The Garden Restaurant serves hearty dishes, along with the occasional cosmopolitan twist, and the menus make the most of Scotland’s larder with Orkney herring and Isle of Mull cheese being typical of the ingredients you might find on the menu.
The bar and the lounge with its log fire are understandably popular spots for relaxing with a little, or indeed large, malt whisky.
Guests can work up a thirst by exploring the Highlands and the Cairngorm National Park which are both on the Pine Tree Hotel’s doorstep.
