  Super local restaurant

  We chose the steak deal which was excellent in all aspects- taste, presentation and value. Also attentive and efficient waiter and helpful chef. This was our first visit but we shall certainly return.

Cosy neighbourhood restaurant

The Skillet is the perfect restaurant to spend some quality time with your friends and family (and also your pooch – they are dog-friendly!) Diners can expect fresh, delicious food, prepared with passion using fresh locally-sourced ingredients. Inside, its exposed brick walls, mezzanine floor and dark furnishings create a wonderfully modern, cosy ambience, whilst the floor-to-ceiling front window floods the restaurant with natural light.

Perfect menus for brunch, lunch, or dinner

The food at The Skillet draws inspiration from both traditional Scottish and international cuisine, serving up the best of the best for brunch, lunch or dinner. Brunch items include eggs Benedict, Shakshuka eggs and a salmon fishcake, whilst the lunch menu showcases their popular rosemary focaccia sandwiches with your choice of filling – pulled lamb shoulder, chicken schnitzel or goat’s cheese. The dinner menu won’t disappoint either, featuring delectable dishes like monkfish scampi and truffle wild mushroom linguini.

The Skillet is ideally positioned on Hyndland Street, a short walk from Hillhead and Kelvinhall underground stations, and Partick and Hyndland train stations. Ample on-street parking is also available.
