Championship course

The Carrick on Loch Lomond is the 71-par course designed by the acclaimed golf course designer Doug Carrick.

Straddling the fault lines between the Scottish Lowlands and Highlands, this stunning course uses every inch of the dramatic landscape.

Nine holes stick to classic Scottish Lowland terrain along the banks of Loch Lomond, while the other nine make you climb to tackle Highland heath and tee off on sloping fairways.

Golfer’s high tea

All that exercise can sharpen an appetite. As part of this offer, guests can tuck into a one course golfer’s high tea.

Choose from beer battered haddock with thick cut chips; a delicious cheese and bacon burger with skinny fries; a bowl of beef chilli served with sour cream, cheese and tortilla chips or the pesto linguine with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.

‘One of the best golfing days out I’ve had… Friendly club professional with a pro shop that stocked only the best golfing accessories… The course was a bit wet on the fairways and the greens were immaculate and the views were spectacular… part of our deal included a bacon roll and this was absolutely brilliant. Sitting round the fire with a cup of tea, we could discuss some of the best holes we have ever played, especially the 14th…’

‘Great test of golf at a stunning location. We have been playing golf at The Carrick… since the course first opened. During this time a massive amount of work has been done to improve the course… course is really maturing… greens were true and quick… fairways really lush. The scenery as ever is truly spectacular and the course is now a really good, but fair, test of golf – standout holes are the 3rd, 4th, 13th, 14th and 15th with a challenging 18th when the wind is blowing.’
