Now under new ownership, the premises have been refurbished with the introduction of fine quality fabrics to compliment the hotel’s fabulous traditional features and oak panelling.  

Island break

Available seven days a week, option one of this offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a classic double or twin room at Skeabost.

Option two, also available seven nights a week, is for two people to have a two consecutive night stay.

Both options include afternoon tea on arrival and a full Scottish or continental breakfast each morning.

Depending on availability, guests may be able to upgrade to a Superior Room for a supplement.

Round of golf?

The hotel has its own golf course, which is available to use at a charge, arranged with the hotel. The nine hole, fourteen tee course weaves its way through the picturesque, landscaped, loch side gardens.

Skye is famous for its challenging climbing and breath-taking walking opportunities not to mention its historical attractions such as Dunvegan Castle.

In season, there is fishing available (additional fees payable) on the hotel’s private trout and salmon river.

Guests of Skeabost can also enjoy the sailing trips offered by the owners of the hotel on their luxury yacht. The 50’ Solus a Chuain (Light of the Ocean) sails daily out of Armadale and is weather dependent, normally available until the end of September.

The customer service is outstanding and the pride the staff and management have in the hotel is something I have not experienced anywhere else. The rooms were luxurious… most comfortable sleep you’ll get anywhere! Dinner was delicious, selected from a varied and locally inspired menu, breakfast choices catering for all and again the service would make you smile before starting out on a busy day… A very sincere and impressed congratulations; warm, welcoming, personal with a real touch of class.’
