As the temperature drops the average Glaswegian response is instinctive. Winter must be faced down with the finest weapon at our disposal, spice, in the form of fine Indian cuisine.
When it comes to curries, Glasgow is blessed with some of the finest operators in the UK. Few are more acclaimed than that perennial favourite, the Ashoka West End, established in 1973 and still purveying fine cuisine to the discerning curry aficionados of Glasgow.
Doing their bit to combat those dipping temperatures, the Ashoka people are offering today’s alluring Big Deal that makes an Indian takeaway all the more irresistible. If that were possible.
Available seven days a week from 4pm until 10.30pm for delivery or collection, the Big Deal Option one is for a meal consisting of two main course curries, a boiled or fried rice and your choice of a plain naan bread or two chapatis.
