Part of a group of Andiamo restaurants which are centred around Glasgow, Andiamo Hamilton is an Italian restaurant on Cadzow Street. Blending a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere with stylish, clean and contemporary looks, Andiamo Hamilton is open all day, seven days a week, and has a wide range of menus to match each occasion.
As well as offering a comprehensive gluten-free menu, Andiamo Hamilton has a separate kids’ menu; pre-theatre, lunch, Sunday lunch and, of course, a la carte menu. Each one is packed with a tempting mix of classic and contemporary Italian dishes.
Pasta and pizza are to the fore in the a la carte which also includes classic minestrone soup; mussels steamed in white wine; bruschetta, focaccia and calamari. Among the meat dishes are surf ‘n’ turf and veal saltimbocca, made with Parma ham and sage. The fritto misto, or fried, mixed fish, is always popular as are the fresh sea bass fillets cooked in white wine, olive oil, lemon and parsley. The risotto options include wild mushrooms; Italian salsiccia sausage and a risotto made with chicken and spinach pesto.
Andiamo is on Cadzow Street in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire. The restaurant has onsite private parking as well as some on street parking availability. Hamilton Central train station is a ten minute walk as is Hamilton Bus Station – both offer links to central Glasgow, Motherwell and Coatbridge.
