  I took my boyfriend here for his birthday - as part of special occasions, we also go somewhere a bit more special however I am disappointed. The service was impeccable, very attentive but the rest could have been improved. When I went to sit down at my seat the seat was covered in stains and what looked like dried in candle wax. Portions were extremely small and the chateaubriand was a disappointment. Automatic unexplained service charge and despite the lovely open fire in the bar it was very chilly. I am not usually this critical however for a 5 star place, it was a bit of a let down and I wouldn't say value for money.
