Mediterraneo Review

  • Rating OK food but very slow service (Rating 2.4/5)
The food here was just about acceptable. The pate was rather cement-like but passable and the lasagne tasted fine but was a bit rubbery in texture as if cooked the day before and warmed up. The tiramisu had been left out of the chiller too long and was warm by the time we got it, so tasted very suspect and the accompanying chocolate sauce had split. The real let-down, however, was the service. We went in for the express lunch and were there for over three hours. We waited an unnacceptably long time to order and to have our plates cleared between courses. We then had to chase down staff to order dessert, to request the bill and to pay the bill. Based on this alone, I wouldn't return here.
