  Went for the pre theatre menu, so obviously steak isn't going to be on it, but there's usually chicken which I love. The pepper soup was average, could have made better myself (which is why I go to restaurants). The only option I liked the sound of was the pork, which was fatty, and very pink on the inside. The veg accompaniment of squash etc was nearly cold. The bowl of veg we ordered was also lukewarm. The thrice cooked chips were very dark and more like crisps. The dessert of mint ice cream was however delicious, as was the two glasses of white wine I washed it down with. I'd suggest upping the prices and providing better quality. My husbands risotto was a bit dry he felt. I was really disappointed- I've NEVER had a bad meal here and I was in a low mood as it was to mark the 25th anniversary of my mums death. My husband usually takes corporate clients here, and he's rethinking that now. Never thought I'd write a review and I didn't want to be negative at the time as I was quite emotional anyway. So we just went home disappointed.
