Family-run Italian in Clydebank
Housed in a converted church, Casa Italia Ristorante is on the corner of Clydebank’s Montrose Street and Kilbowie Road. A welcoming, family-run restaurant, it offers classic Italian cooking with a subtle emphasis on southern Italian flavours. As well as a spacious dining room there is an eye-catching mezzanine area and outside tables for al fresco meals in the summer. The monthly musical tribute acts are always popular.
Simple Italian classics
Fresh, locally sourced and seasonal are the watchwords in the Casa Italia kitchens and carefully handed down family recipes guide the chefs. Popular starters include the mixed charcuterie, bruschetta and minestrone soup. As well as a tapas menu, there is a selection of risotto, pasta and stone-baked pizza.
Other options include a selection of char grilled steaks, burgers, fish dishes, classic Italian chicken recipes and traditional veal choices such as vitello latta – a medallion of veal pan-fried in bread crumbs and served with pasta Napoli.
Signature dishes include the gigante 18” sharing pizza and the Mamma Licia pasta – shredded chicken tossed in a chilli and garlic sauce and served with Parmesan shavings.
