• Rating Great food but what an extremely rude host (Rating 3.6/5)

  My partner and I were out doing some pre wedding shopping on Thurs evening and thought we would book a wee 5pm deal while out and about. Now whether it was because we were that 5pm deal or not, when we arrived at the restaurant no one greeted us. No problem so we made our way over to the host station where quite frankly the girl on duty was the rudest person I've come across in a while. We were finally shown to a table after the host distaste fully barked out a table to her colleague. The food and wine were absolutely fantastic with both the venison and beef being to die for! The 5om deal is fantastic giving you 2-4-1 main course. Rebecca, our waitress was efficient, bright & bubbly in her section. As we weren't finished with the shopping we decided not to have pudding but to get back to business. Again when we asked for the bill - cue the rudest host in the world who slapped down on the table with a face like thunder. My partner wanted to ask our waitress if she gets a share of the tips as we were so unimpressed by this girls attitude. A really lovely meal was nearly ruined by this! If you don't like people, find another vocation....
