Strata Review

  • Rating Not strata-spheric - but good down to earth food and drink (Rating 4.0/5)
We like Strata because they do good cocktails and decent food to follow and so it transpired on this visit. I had nicely cooked tempura prawns in a crisp, light batter. My friend had corn chowder. Mains were sea bass for me which, although on the small side was tender and succulent. My friend had chicken with haggis which was good, too. We plumped for one of the more expensive white wines, a Sancerre. It was Ok but not the nicest Sancerre I've ever had. Service was attentive and helpful.
