  A nice atmosphere in this city centre restaurant, and very friendly waiting staff. Unfortunately the kitchen apparently screwed up and our delayed main courses didn't arrive until five minutes before my dining partner was due back at work (I was on holiday, it being my birthday, so didn't have the same problem). That said, unprompted we were given a wodge of discount off our meal and they were very very apologetic. Full marks for customer interaction in my opinion. Food wise, I was happy enough with my choice of salt & pepper deep fried baby squid, followed by Thai steak burger, but overall the food tended slightly towards the salty end of the scale (and yes, I know salt & pepper squid will inevitably be salty, and Asian food can have a certain Soy Sauce piquancy!). Overall I was more impressed than my friend, although since she'd suggested going there perhaps there was an element of embarrassment involved, but I'd give them another go at some point when neither of us had time constraints.
