  The meal was lovely. Lovely girl serving us. Just a perfect little night for a catch up with a friend over lovely food. Portions were spot on & we had a couple more drinks plus a side of crackers too.

Based on Mitchell Lane, Bar Soba pays homage to the street food artists of South East Asia’s bustling night markets. The kitchen team are passionate about conjuring up classic street dishes from scratch using the finest produce, creating some culinary remixes in the process. Expect Asian flavour bombs washed down with imaginative cocktails, while local and international DJs play diverse beats in the background.

Tongue-tingling street food and tasty cocktails

Bar Soba has one of the most imaginative Asian fusion menus in Glasgow and serves small plates alongside dishes hot from the wok. With a menu stretching from Singapore to Seoul, you can enjoy a whistle-stop tour of Eastern delights. Highlights include the teriyaki beef noodles, the crispy Shanghai Pork and the buttermilk fried chicken katsu curry. Veggies can tuck into the gyoza ramen, the vegetable pad thai and the basil chilli stir fry, among other options. Small plates include salt & pepper squid, Korean popcorn chicken and the intriguing cheeseburger spring rolls. If you have room for dessert then the deep fried Japanese doughnut might just tickle your fancy. Bar Soba is just off Buchanan Street, a five-minute walk from Central Station and St. Enoch Subway. Queen Street train station and Buchanan Street subway stations are a brisk ten-minute walk from the restaurant, plus there are several bus stops and taxi ranks nearby. Bar Soba is also handy for the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Cineworld.
