Stylish lounge bar in Glasgow city centre

The Lounge Bar is part of the award-winning Arthouse Glasgow. A member of the Abode group, the Arthouse is a stylish townhouse hotel on Bath Street. A mix of stand-alone and banquette seating, large windows and designer lighting, the Lounge Bar is an airy, contemporary space for a drink, light meal or three course dinner. The hotel has an interesting past which is reflected in period features such as its gilded cage lift, gilt wallpaper and atrium waterfall.

Global flavours menu

The menu in the Lounge Bar travels the world for inspiration. Whether you are peckish for a pizza or hungry for a beer-battered haddock, they have a dish for you. Comfort food such as steak and kidney pie or salmon fishcakes are available as are Aberdeen Angus or Cajun chicken burgers.
The warm, sticky toffee pudding with a whisky butterscotch sauce is always a temptation. Alternatively, guests can round off their meal with a selection of local cheeses, chutney and biscuits.

Local attractions and transport links

The Arthouse Glasgow is on Bath Street. It is a brisk five minute walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street rail stations as well as Buchanan Street subway. There is a multi-story car park opposite. Local attractions include the King’s Theatre, Glasgow Film Theatre and the shops of Sauchiehall, Argyll and Buchanan Streets.
